| Smiling in the face of danger |
Years ago, I went to the Eccles Dinosaur Park with my parents while they were visiting and had a great time. Course, I like places where you can take fun pictures and so I was looking forward to going back, even though it's really kind of a kid's park. I had printed out directions from Google map to take us from the hotel to the park. Terrible directions-- streets weren't named the same as they were in the directions. I'll use Mapquest next time.
After realizing we were not heading the right direction, I turned to the navigation on my handy dandy phone. That ended us smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood and the voice said we were at our destination. Didn't take a genius to know that we really weren't at our destination, and so a kind lady that was out gardening said that we were close, just on the wrong side of the river. She gave us better directions and we found the park.
The day was beautiful and there was plenty around to entertain us with taking pictures, including taking some great video that I plan to use in my next movie.

| A night at the museum! Spooky! |
After going to the Dinosaur Park, we went to iFly and then to Antelope Island. We came out here a few weeks ago and it was cold and rainy so we mostly just drove around. This time, it was warm and sunny but the biting gnats were so bad that it sounded like rain on the car as they splatted all over. Gross! Got out quickly for this picture and that was it for this trip too. Didn't even open the windows because they were just swarming everywhere. Beautiful day though and we were able to drive around until we found a herd of several hundred buffalo. Very cool!
