The Shoot !

Had a great time taking pictures of the models and found out that I do a better job with the children than the adults.  Take a look at some of my favorites...

This one was over-exposed but I played around with Photoshop filters and ended up with an effect that I really liked...  so much that I did the same with a picture of her brother.

The setting was amazing for taking pictures.  So many cool things to explore and interact with!

Beautiful family... and lots more pictures... but since most of you don't know them, this is probably enough.  I had a WONDERFUL time taking pix during this workshop and would love to get better at taking pictures of people.  Practicing on my cats indoors is only fun for so long-- so, if you have kids and would be willing to let me take pictures and practice, let me know because I would love to do it and I would hope at least a few of the pictures would turn out well enough that you could do something with them.

  1. Lisa, I had no idea you loved taking photos. We have so much in common. I just started my hobby. I got a Cannon Rebel XS for Christmas...still not sure how to use it. What camera do you use? Did you take the community class? I would love you to take some pics of my kids and share with me what you have learned. Maybe next time we could take a class together. :)

  3. I love photography too! If you ever want to take pictures of Chloe I think she is pretty dang cute! I am going to have to go to that old mill and look around. Love the pictures.

  4. Thanks for volunteering your kids. We ought to go out and take pictures together sometime. The mill is awesome, although I think they charge $20 for a photoshoot. We could still do that though! Or go to the little pond by Stouffer's once it greens up and is warmer.
